
Course Overview
The Concealed Carry Course is designed to meet the State of Florida’s
requirements for obtaining a Concealed Weapons License. This structured,
safety-focused class provides both classroom instruction and a live-fire
proficiency demonstration.

Students will learn essential firearm safety rules, proper handling techniques,
safe storage practices, and an overview of the legal responsibilities
associated with carrying a concealed firearm. The course emphasizes
responsible ownership and informed decision-making.

Upon successful completion, students receive the required certificate of firearms proficiency needed to submit their application to the State of Florida.

Required Gear

Handgun (Semi-auto or revolver)
-
A suitable strong side OWB holster or thigh rig. (Holsters must provide retention so firearms don’t fall out.)
-
Minimum of 3 HI Cap magazines or speed loaders.
-
Magazine Holders / Pouch to hold all Magazines.
-
50 rounds of ammunition
-
Ear protection and wrap around eye protection.
-
Long pants with belt loops and a sturdy belt. No yoga pants.

Lightweight clothing and light color, avoid black. (no tank tops)

Closed toe shoes
-
Ball cap or brimmed hat

Sunscreen
-
Insect repellent
-
Water to stay hydrated

Weapons and ammunition can be supplied by Frisk Firearms Training upon request.
