Course Overview
Tactical Pistol II is designed for the intermediate-level shooter and builds
directly upon the skills developed in Tactical Pistol I. This course introduces
more dynamic defensive techniques, emphasizing movement,
decision-making, and weapon control under structured but increasingly
challenging conditions. Students will develop proficiency in injured shooter
drills, close-contact shooting, defensive shooting from the holster,
movement-based engagement, barricade and hard cover work (strong and
support side), and 180-degree shooting concepts. A strong focus is placed
on muzzle discipline, safe movement, and situational awareness throughout
all drills. This course is ideal for shooters ready to advance beyond foundational marksmanship and apply their skills in more realistic defensive scenarios.
